A RECIPE FOR DISTRACTION

Have you ever tried sounding sincere when you know you don’t really know what you’re talking about, you just don’t want to sincerely admit it? Have you ever tried sounding serious when your insides are just smiling at the whole situation? Have you ever tried to impress anybody with your naivety? Have you ever tried not sounding superior when you know you know better? Have you ever tried not feeling inferior when you know you don’t know any better? Have you ever tried acting a part that you know doesn’t suit you? Have you ever tried to convince yourself you can get used to anything if you don’t want to break the habit? Have you ever tried waiting for somebody who is already here? Have you ever tried being somewhere else at the same time? Have you ever tried banging your head against a brick wall to open up your third-eye which can see a much easier way to get to the other side? Have you ever tried sincerely listening to somebody advise you how to be somebody else? Have you ever tried making a futile gesture because you know it’s the only thing that makes perfect sense? You should be a playwright.
